irises & rain clouds
tuesdays and the grace of God
pressed but not crushed
coffee and the knowledge
that the sun will come out
and the Son will come back.
all this beauty was not left
by mistake; our Lover is
intentional, and to sweeten
the separation, has given us
eyes to see the water-iris bloom.
